Mailking is an extension available on the Chrome Store and on Google Workspace Marketplace (formerly called Gsuite) to send email marketing campaigns in Gmail. Even though you can send an email campaign with Mailking in a few steps, it also has some limitations when it comes to email reporting and customizable email templates that other tools include.
Gumbamail offers a wide range of benefits that other providers such as Mailking do not:
Gumbamail uses their own email servers, which means you do not have to comply with Gmail’s daily sending limit (500 emails a day with a free Gmail account and 2,000 emails a day with a G Suite account).
You will be able to create and easily customize beautiful and responsive HTML templates using an easy-to-use drag & drop editor embedded in your Gmail account. Even though Mailking also includes a drag & drop template editor, its range of email templates is more limited and you will have to integrate Mailking with a Mailchimp account to have access to more professional templates.
You can use more than 250 tailor-made HTML templates for free which are easy to customize or you can also design your own to fit your brand identity. No need to connect with third parties to have access to these templates.
You can import your recipient lists easily from a .csv file, a Google Drive spreadsheet or Google Contacts. You will also get access to an advanced reporting dashboard for each email list without leaving Gmail: subscribes, unsubscribes, average open and click-through rate, among other data.
Gumbamail includes a visual reporting dashboard for each email campaign and email list without leaving your Gmail account. All the data points you need to check the success of your mass email campaigns at hand: delivered emails, bounced emails, opened, click-through rate, and unsubscribes.
Unlike Mailking, where you have to manage unsubscribes manually by adding an opt-out link, Gumbamail’s templates all include an unsubscribe link by default that is connected to your email lists. You will only send emails to those interested, period. Be fully compliant with email best practices without any management on your side.
